Although The Langton models are also quite pricey per ship, you actually might of saved money in the long run and can always add the rigging and such. I know of 2 people with a large sized fleet of SoG ships all tarted up and they do look nice just with a wash and a touch up or two. They are not cheap, are rather generic, need a bit of tarting up and still don't look as good as what you have achieved. I need a few more boats but have been reluctant to make the investment. There are a heap of Napoleonic naval rules, but I have found Galleys and Galleons works well for me.
Sun of Yorkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07315805432481558574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8192530324588247864.post-22826437497967489972017-11-06T20:35:01.306-08:002017-11-06T20:35:01.306-08:00Thanks Phil and thanks for comment. Interestingly the Spanish ships were similar to the British, both nations needing to support world wide empires, the French had no such needs.
Best Iain caveadsum1471https://www.blogger.com/profile/02174163740406928172noreply@blogger.com
